This heated shawl was purchased over three years ago and has been wonderful, particularly on cold winter days in the Northwest. Unfortunately it has experienced a common failure from frequent use so I contacted the Pure Enrichment Customer Support Team to see about getting a warranty repair. The Customer Support Team provided rapid response to my request and true to their hassle free warranty, they are sending me a new unit as soon as possible given the rush of Christmas. It is rare yet encouraging to see a company willing to stand behind their products.

This shawl is amazing. This is probably the sixth one I’ve purchased. I’ve given them as gifts as well as kept a couple for myself. My daughter puts hers over her legs while she is at the computer. I lay mine on my bed and wrap myself up like the wings of Isis holding me while I sleep. I find the heat comforting whether it is in the day or night. Once the control started blinking and wouldn’t work. Pure Relief had me film a short video and send it to them and they sent me a new shawl immediately.

I love this! My first winter living by myself on retirement income. The heat isn’t coming on in the house until it gets very cold outside. This heated shawl is helping me to stay comfortable in a cool house. When the weather turns very cold, I will be singing your praises. I love that I can detach it and walk around the house wearing the warmed up shawl. I also take it outside on the deck and plug it into an outside outlet when I want to get some fresh air.

This shawl works VERY well. Very hot on high and just right on warm. I live in a large home and to be ecological I keep the heat at 62 which can feel chilly. This has been a great solution to keep my arms free while working all day at my desk. HOWEVER, there is a cheap and nauseating plastic smell when the unit is on, this odor never seems to “burn off.” It is on both models that I ordered from Pure Enrichment. As soon as it gets warm the smell is under my nose for the 6 to 8 hours of the work day. Like many car manufacturers Pure Enrichment would do well to smell their plastics with a focus group and rank them before setting a design into manufacturing. Odor matter, better yet being odor free is the best of all products. The constant stench makes me wonder what chemicals are volatiles into my nose and lungs. Hmmm….

I got this for my mom who deals with body aches, cramping and chills during her period and it has been a game changer for her! the minute it was out of the box she cuddled into it and now there’s arguments on who gets to borrow it first HAHA

The product does what you’d expect it to do. The only drawback for me, hence the 4 star rating is that I would have preferred the gray fabric to have more of a drape, like the inside fleece lining. That said, I wouldn’t shy away from the purchase. In fact, I purchased one for my daughter and then another (another location) for my son’s girlfriend. But what is very important to me when purchasing from a vendor for the first time is customer service. My order wasn’t moving and was placed over the Thanksgiving weekend. I started getting concerned that I had made a mistake ordering from this company. I was able to find a customer service telephone number and discussed my concerns with Nicholas R. who said that they received an abundance of orders but that he would reach out to other departments involved to get an update. He promised me he would both call me and send me an email. Almost immediately, Nick left me a voice mail as well as a detailed email. The rest is history as I was able to track the package. Several days later (it traveled) I received all ordered items. I have to say that Nick went above and beyond in helping me and for me excellent customer service can make or break your business. For that reason, I can only hope the higher ups are able to view some of these ratings, Because of Nick, I would order from this company (and purchase there products in-store) moving forward. IF I did not have this experience I would not be purchasing or promoting this company.

I purchased PureRelief Plush heated Shawl. This was exactly what I needed. I was struggling with being cold while I sit at my desk while working. A blanket only covers the bottom half of me. This shawl keeps the top half of me really warm. The size is perfect for me where it doesn’t get in the way while I am typing and covers my arms still to keep warm. It is super soft. I really like the 4 different settings and it gets very warm and is perfect for all temperatures. It has pockets which if my hands get cold, I put them in there and they warm right up. I am loving this! The only thing is the cord I wish was in a different spot and maybe the remote a little bit smaller.

I like this Plush Heated Shawl. It is very cozy. I had been hoping that it would provide more heat, at highest level to help provide relief from constant pain I have in shoulders, neck, upper and lower back.
It seems like it helps more with just keeping a body warm. I like that part too, although it does seem like some sections are getting the electrical energy that other parts are receiving.
Keep working on these products, they are desperately needed by those of us in constant pain. Especially, someone like me who is allergic to most pain medication.

Very helpful when imobile for periods of time, like working at your desk. The with relaxes my back. Versatile to use as a blanket but not as wa as when worn. Drawback is it’s heavy, bulky, and cannot disconnect the heat cord easily with it on as its in the back. Would be highly improved to have a portable battery to store in pocket to be able to move around without taking it off.

I feel like an infant dragging my blanket around the house. I keep the temp down in the house so it’s been great. I plan on taking it with me while rv camping . It will be so much easier than sleeping with heavy clothing .

Super soft and comfy! I love that it is over-sized for me so I can really snuggle into it. Works great as a throw blanket or button it up in the front to wear it as a shawl. The heating temperatures warm, low, medium, and high are pretty true to their heat settings. I do wish the cord from the back of the shawl to the controller was at least 4-5 inches longer. I feel like I have to struggle a bit and shift around to grab the controller. The ability to disconnect the controller and walk around is great! It doesn’t stay heated for too long, but long enough to get up and grab some snacks for movie night. The shawl has two pockets, one on each side and 4 plastic snap on buttons to keep the shawl closed in the front. I haven’t had the opportunity to wash it yet, but the washing instructions seem to be straight forward and are provided on a soft label sewed to the outside of the shawl. The shawl also comes with a drawstring bag for easy storage.
